Bloom Education is a Winchester-based educational service dedicated to fostering confidence, curiosity, and creativity in children. They offer personalized one-to-one tutoring and support services from their dedicated premises, a converted barn in Easton.
Recognizing that traditional schooling isn't always suitable for every child, Bloom Education provides tailored programs for home-educated children, those with additional learning needs such as anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, or for families who prefer an alternative educational path. They also offer alternative provision, working closely with schools to support children aged 5 to 16 who are struggling with school demands, including those not attending, on reduced timetables, or awaiting school placement.
Additionally, they provide after-school tutoring for children seeking extra support or greater academic challenges. All lessons are delivered by fully qualified and experienced teachers who are adept at working with a wide range of needs.
The focus is not just on academic development but also on building essential life skills, communication, confidence, and self-esteem, promoting resilience and well-being.

My daughter has been attending Bloom for 6 months, she is Autistic with a PDA profile and mainstream school was traumatic with virtually FT school refusal. Bloom was introduced to us as an alternative to education and we attended twice weekly. My daughter literally blossomed (pardon the pun) and her confidence and self esteem started to return. We have now been accepted for a specialist provision and my daughter has been shown that education can be fun with the right support. I could even leave her at Bloom which is something she massively struggled with at her school. All the staff have been amazing and they literally have made a very stressful journey more positive. I can’t thank you enough x
Read on GoogleI’ve worked with these teachers. Their enthusiasm, energy and experience is truly inspiring. They see what a particular child needs and make a connection such that the child’s attitude to formal and informal learning is transformed. The hours they used to put in at school demonstrated their dedication and passion for children performing to their potential - something Julia has perhaps developed from the personal experience of being a former Olympic swimmer. And if ‘inspiring children’ was included in the Olympics, Jo would definitely be team captain!
Read on GoogleThe team at bloom are amazing and work hard to achieve the best relationship with the children they work with.
