Blue Grass Purple Cow Nursery is dedicated to fostering curiosity, consideration, and confidence in children from three months to five years old. Emphasising holistic development, the nursery provides a stimulating outdoor environment for experimentation and growth, regardless of weather conditions. The staff are described as a happy, respected, and appreciated team, many of whom have been with the nursery for several years, ensuring consistent and knowledgeable care.
The nursery was also recognised nationally by Nursery World magazine for its unique approach, winning the National Award for Working with Parents. They provide daily email updates to parents, often with photos, and also use the Parentzone app for communication regarding their child's daily activities, food, and development.

What it's like
Staff ensure that children are welcomed into a safe and exceptionally well-resourced environment. Children are busy and full of excitement at the freedom they have to develop their curiosity. Staff set up the outdoor space well to create an area of excitement and fun.
Fees are charged for extended day add-ons and optional meal packages for funded children. Consumable items are provided free of charge, but external food is not permitted on site. A holding fee applies to relinquished sessions.

Inclusion & environment
