Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and staff know the children very well, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities. They work closely with families to develop consistent strategies to help children integrate and make progress. Staff are also aware of children struggling with emotions and use calming activities.

Outdoor space

Children move around the indoor and outdoor areas freely, but carefully. Outdoors children find out about plants as staff encourage them to feel the leaves. They initiate their own games, such as hide and seek, which staff use to continue their curriculum focus on children's counting skills.

My eldest is just about to start school and has been going to inside out since she was 10 months old. She loves the nursery and the staff working there and it’s so lovely to see the bond she has with the staff. The nursery is great and set up well with lots of different rooms and activities, they also have little day trips out or walks to the park. They have a fabulous inside space and outdoor space too, and nursery pets which my little one loves! The staff are so accommodating and have been so helpful with me navigating working mum life. Nothing is too much trouble.

Our little girl loves going to Inside Out nursery and has bonded really well with the staff. The kids get a lot of outdoor play and we get nice photo updates of what she’s been up to! I feel confident leaving her knowing she’s well looked after and I can tell Julie, Sophie and the whole team genuinely care about the kids

Julie & the team at Inside Out Nursery are nothing short of fantastic. My two year old son started here when we moved to New Mills in February 2022 and he's loved it ever since. The space is modern, bright and clean with so many amazing resources including a huge activity hall with their own indoor playground. They are very keen to take the children outdoors as much as they can, and the onsite outdoor space is fun, safe and offers plenty of opportunity for the kids to explore. They also do lots of day trip adventures around New Mills which my little boy loves - they recently walked down the Sett Valley trail with the kids to have a picnic in Birch Vale. The staff are friendly and they make a real effort to be flexible around parents childcare needs. I highly recommend this nursery setting to anyone looking for a nursery place in New Mills.
