Embracing 'The Curiosity Approach' ethos, Bouncing Beans is actively working towards accreditation, aiming to cultivate a setting rich in curiosity, awe, and wonder. The nursery's approach moves away from conventional plastic toys, instead offering authentic materials and open-ended resources within calm, natural spaces to foster deep engagement, problem-solving, and creativity.
Children are encouraged to explore, investigate, and follow their natural curiosity, developing essential life skills like critical thinking, resilience, and communication through hands-on discovery. The nurturing, home-like environment promotes confidence and independence, with a strong emphasis on daily outdoor learning to connect children with nature, supporting their well-being and physical development.

Our ethos
At Bouncing Beans, we provide a child focused nursery experience that is warm and welcoming, open, and inclusive, and one that will positively introduce your child to education. We follow ‘The Curiosity Approach’ ethos and are currently working towards our Curiosity Approach accreditation. As a team, we have embarked on a 24-month journey to create a culture of Curiosity Awe and Wonder that is deeply embedded within our setting. We regularly evaluate and reflect on our current provision ensuring the best outcomes for our children.

Children arrive happy, settle swiftly, and become deeply involved in self-chosen play, confidently engaging with visitors.
Fees include snacks, drinks, enrichment activities, and consumables, and are reviewed annually in April. The nursery operates 50 weeks a year, allowing funded hours to be stretched. Children must attend a minimum of two sessions per week, and additional charges apply to funded hours to cover extras.

Inclusion & environment
Staff recognise and accept children as unique individuals and provide bespoke care. All children, especially those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make sustained progress. Parents of children with SEND state that staff ensure that their children are able to achieve their full potential with the support that they receive at the nursery.
The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
