Brentwood Day Nursery, established in 1974 and still under the original family ownership, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 5 years. Located within the scenic Old County Cricket Ground, the nursery benefits from extensive outdoor space for exploration and learning, complemented by well-lit indoor areas designed for various activities.

The nursery operates year-round, closing only for one week during the Christmas period, with hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Adhering to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, the nursery offers a play-based approach tailored to individual needs, often surpassing statutory staff-to-child ratios to ensure personalised attention.

The dedicated team, some of whom have been with the nursery for many years, are committed to fostering independence, confidence, and a love for learning in preparation for future educational journeys. The nursery is conveniently situated near Brentwood town centre and the train station, with secure premises featuring a buzzer entry system and CCTV.

My daughter spent nearly two years at Brentwood Day Nursery before starting school this year. I want to honestly share my thoughts because childcare is incredibly important to every parent, especially during early childhood. The environment at Brentwood Day Nursery is of an exceptionally high standard, immediately catching my attention with its focus on providing children with plenty of fresh air and natural light. The friendly, family-like atmosphere further reinforced this impression during my visit, where I could see a charming blend of vintage appeal and modern touches from the management. The staff members are well-trained and seem fully prepared to nurture and support these young minds. I would definitely recommend it.

Brentwood Day Nursery has provided a fantastic experience for both my children. My daughter loved it, and now my son is thriving there too. Our experience has been great with Brentwood Day Nursery. We feel our son is being cared for and is in safe environment. A personal touch feels comforting and emphasis on individual growth of child is what we find is great for kids here. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience so far!

Brentwood Day Nursery is a 10 out of 10 kindergarten, my child has been attending the kindergarten for 1 month but the results are visible from the first week, the teachers' involvement is very high. I recommend this kindergarten 100%, you will be satisfied.

This is by far the best nursery around. Travelling 45 mins from home for my children to go the nursery says a lot! The staff a so friendly, knowledgeable and caring. The children have so much fun while learning too. Would definitely recommend.
