Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

There are high expectations for all children, including those with special educational needs and or disabilities (SEND). The skilled staff team adapt their teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of children, implementing a personalised approach to ensure swift and highly effective action is taken to support children when they struggle to regulate their own behaviour. The highly inclusive curriculum is planned exceptionally well and ensures that all children, including those with SEND, make superb progress from their starting points. The special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) works extremely closely with outside professionals to ensure that personalised intervention is delivered consistently across the setting.

Outdoor space

Children flourish as they spend time in the 'Forest School', exploring with clay and natural resources, and understanding how to keep themselves safe as they freely explore in the fresh air. Children spend large amounts of time outside in the fresh air. Staff use the garden to provide a wealth of opportunities for children to develop their physical skills and learn how to promote their own good health. For example, children thoroughly enjoy digging in the construction area, using real tools safely to dig and fill vessels with mud.

Where to start?! The best nursery ever. Lovely, helpful staff who enjoy working there. Management is amazing, very helpful! My son is a SEN child and he loved that nursery very much. They helped him a lot after his traumatised experience in other setting. I cant praise them enough, my boy is now one happy child :) Exceptional teachers worked there, big claps for all of You! The nursery itself is very cosy, nice and there is parking space to drop off your child. I recommend Bright Beginnings so much! Thank you for taking Exceptional care of my son.
