I can whole heartedly say that we are so sad to be leaving bright horizons this year ! My daughter has been attending this amazing nursery since September and honestly the amount of care and amazing experiences and education they have provided since she has started is incredible! Really wish she didn’t have to leave , she loves her friends and teachers so so much ! I would recommend bright horizons Springfield lodge to everyone who is considering sending their bubbas ! And I want to say a HUGE Thank you to all the amazing staff there for creating such a nurturing environment for the kiddos! Your all amazing :)
Read on GoogleI’ve had a very disappointing experience with this nursery. Most recently, my son developed a painful skin allergy after staff applied sun cream without my prior consent. When I raised this, there was no concern expressed for his wellbeing—just a clinical confirmation of the product used. We are now seeking medical advice due to the severity of his reaction, and the lack of empathy was deeply upsetting. Unfortunately, this isn’t an isolated issue. Over time, we’ve experienced: • An unsupported and unexplained suggestion that my son may be developmentally delayed, with no follow-up despite multiple requests; • A complete lack of response from management when I asked how that conclusion was reached; • Conflicting communication around the pick-up code policy, which left me questioning my own memory and undermined my trust; • And now, the careless use of a strong SPF product on my child’s sensitive skin, again with no prior discussion or clear consent. There is a clear pattern of poor communication, lack of transparency, and little regard for building a respectful relationship with parents. I’ve raised concerns multiple times, but management consistently fails to engage meaningfully. A formal complaint had to be made. I would strongly encourage other parents to ask detailed questions and consider these issues before choosing this setting for their child.
Read on GoogleI cannot for the life of me recommend this nursery enough! When my boy started in September/October he wasn’t walking or talking, now he’s walking, chatting, showing so much interest in new foods! He loves the staff in the nursery and they are amazing with him!
Read on GoogleI cannot recommend Springfield lodge enough. My little one has been going since December and everyone at the nursery have been great. So caring and really trying to help him develop. He’s been slow to walk but all the staff have been trying to help him. I saw a previous post saying the staff were rude and perhaps it was because she was not from the UK. I really struggle to believe that this has been their experience as truly I think everyone at the nursery is exceptionally kind and really friendly. It’s also very multicultural and they go out of their way to embrace all of the different cultures, both with the variety of food but also loads of little extras including the different languages and celebrations. I’m a first time mum, so didn’t know what to expect but the nursery have gone out their way to reassure me and it really is the best environment for my little one.
Read on GoogleBoth of my sons have attended this nursery and I can’t thank the staff here enough for the way they have brought both boys on. They both thoroughly love their nursery days and are always talking about their teachers and what activities they have been up to. They have developed educationally and socially, my oldest is starting school in September and I have absolutely no worries about his transition to his new school because of the skills he has learnt through his time at this nursery. I would definitely recommend this nursery and the staff, they are really nurturing and so obviously enjoy their work.
