Bright Horizons operates numerous nurseries and preschools across the UK, offering comprehensive childcare solutions with decades of experience. The organisation prides itself on its 'Nurture Approach,' a holistic philosophy that integrates learning and emotional well-being to foster healthy, happy children who can achieve their full potential.
They emphasise a supportive environment led by dedicated and skilled practitioners. Bright Horizons focuses on providing inspiring learning experiences and the simple joys of childhood, aiming to assist families with the daily work-life balance.
They also offer resources and guidance on childcare funding options, understanding that costs can be a concern for parents. The nursery group is committed to a bright future for the children and families they serve, evidenced by their focus on development, safety, and community engagement.
They encourage strong relationships between children, parents, and staff, starting with non-chargeable settling-in sessions.
Our ethos
At Bright Horizons, children are supported at every moment by dedicated, skilled, and caring grown-ups, our nursery practitioners. The Nurture Approach™ is central to life at our Nurseries. It brings together learning and emotional wellbeing as part of the same amazing growing-up journey. We want to make this journey as smooth as possible for the whole family and our team look forward to getting to know their new children. The relationships in a child’s life are very important for their wellbeing, safety, stress regulation, resilience, and development. We know that attachment to at least one caregiver provides children with the secure base necessary to explore, learn, communicate, express their emotions, develop new skills, and to thrive!

Inclusion & environment
The curriculum is planned well to meet the needs of individual children, including those who need additional support. Staff share information effectively with parents, professionals and other settings that children attend, to plan and achieve common goals in children's learning and development.
Staff do not make the most of the outdoor environment to provide more challenging opportunities for older children to practise a range of physical skills, particularly for those who prefer to learn outdoors.
My daughter has been going to the nursery since she was 9 months old and is now 3 years old. she has loved it so much and learnt so much from the nursery, she is always coming home talking about what she has learnt and who she has played with. The staff are amazing and are always giving wonderful feedback on my daughter.
