We'd like to say a huge thanks for all the support, guidance and care you've all given our son on his journey so far, since joining the school in Petts Wood in 2021. We can see how many ways he has benefitted from the excellent teaching of people like Miss Bobo, Miss Angela and Miss Pei Pei, who really had an impact in helping him to express himself, give him confidence and find fresh angles to gain his interest and curiosity for learning. They helped to build the person he is becoming, with empathy and strong values as well as a thirst for knowledge and eagerness for participation. I always say that if the Petts Wood school ran to 7 or even 11 years old, I'd have been happy for our son to continue there! And he has certainly benefitted from feeling embedded in a place and that fond familiarity with teachers, frienda and surroundings. He loves feeling part of the furniture and people knowing his name! We'd love to keep that warmth and stay in touch about events you're running in future, and it's also very possible that he will come back to the weekend Chinese lessons too. Thanks once again, and best wishes, to the team!

My son attended Pony and Panda Petts Wood since he was 2 years old, and he has just started Reception. The nursery has been a warm loving second home to my son in the past 2.5 years. We are very pleased with the learning and care received. The nursery has delivered above and beyond what we expected. The curriculum taught (both English and Mandarin) not only covers all aspects of the EYFS requirements, but also carefully designed to teach children cross-discipline and general knowledge. The teachers in Pony and Panda Petts Wood foster passion of music, numerical and logical thinking, confidence in exploring new ideas/food and encourage children to be themselves. We've never come across the yummy and nutritious food served in any other nurseries (we have tried a few as we have 3 children) that is near comparable to Pony and Panda Petts Wood. All the children love Chef Jenny and Chef Lili. My son is very happy everyday, intellectually challenged, physically active and fed with yummy food. The foundation laid in the nursery has served him well in Reception, doing very well in all aspects and ahead of his classmates. I will recommend Pony and Panda Petts Wood to any family with suitable age children.

My daughter went to Pony and Panda as soon as she turned to two. She couldn’t even walk or talk properly at the time. However, she always came back home with a big smile every single day during the two and half years in the preschool before she started reception recently. I couldn’t recommend more about this bilingual preschool which is run by a bunch of professional, passionate, caring and dedicated teachers. The preschool is cosy and always full of positive energy, creatives ideas and joy. The children are learning a lot about the world around themselves in the most playful way where possible. I have to say that the golden time to learn a new language is when they are young (2-5 years), they could speak really good Mandarin and English by the time they graduate and proceed to bigger school. Another thing to mention is the food that’s been offered in the preschool is outstanding. The varieties, nutritions are just wonderful, everything is freshly made in house daily from mains to desserts (no prepared food completely), and they are so delicious. My daughter had good appetite everyday at preschool which is a super important thing at her age. She missed the food in preschool so much! I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all the preschool staffs who make the first journey in her life so special. She felt warmth, love, fun while learning in a different environment than home which build up her confidence in other activities outside preschool life, this helped her greatly for a smooth transition to reception school. The preschool is like her second home since born and I am sure she will miss it very much.

A nursery and Pre-school could be considered for your child and your child’s early education We cannot speak highly enough of Pony & Panda bilingual nursery in Petts Wood. This is not just a nursery; it is a truly nurturing environment where children are understood and cherished as individuals. Both of our two kids had their unforgettable time there. What truly sets Pony & Panda apart is the staff's profound understanding of children's psychological and developmental needs. They are not just caregivers; they are attentive observers who gently guide the children with immense patience and love. They understand that each child has unique emotional and manner requirements, and they meet them with consistent, compassionate support. You can see this in how they help children navigate sharing, express their feelings, and build confidence. This emotionally secure foundation is what allows the children to flourish. Our children have shown incredible growth in both mental and physical development. The activities are perfectly tailored to this age group, promoting fine and gross motor skills alongside cognitive growth. And of course, the bilingual Mandarin-English environment is a miracle in itself. The language acquisition happens so naturally and joyfully within this supportive atmosphere. The staff use language as a tool for connection and play, and it's astounding to see how quickly the children absorb both languages without any pressure. They are not just learning words; they are learning to communicate and connect in two cultures. We are profoundly grateful to the entire team at Pony & Panda for providing such a loving, attentive, and expert start to our children’s life. We wholeheartedly recommend them to any parent in the Petts Wood area or neighbors looking for a place that truly nurtures the whole child—heart, mind, and body.

This unique bilingual nursery has provided a garden of growth for my grandson and granddaughter in the past few years. They have enjoyed their happy days and months here, with every single day filled with learn and play, fun and food, cool decor and warm cuddles. They have a strong bond with the teachers through art and music, reading in English and Chinese, bilingual games and puzzles, the nutritional menu for three meals a day, and most importantly the meticulous care and love from their teachers, including their favourite teachers I would whisper in private. The nurturing here has often gone far above and beyond a nursery and helped them grow into bubbly bright stars. As my granddaughter tells me she is "graduating" from the super cool nursery, as her brother has done before her, a big thank-you to all the teachers at Pony and Panda Bilingual Nursery from the bottom of my heart! Very well done!
