Bright Horizons operates approximately 300 nurseries and preschools across the UK, offering childcare solutions to families. The organisation places a strong emphasis on what they call 'The Nurture Approach', which integrates learning with emotional well-being to support each child's holistic development.
They aim to foster a stimulating and happy environment where children can thrive and reach their full potential. The nursery days are filled with inspiring educational experiences, focusing on both practical and life skills through their 'Bright Beginnings Curriculum', which consists of five key learning areas.
Additionally, outdoor adventures, including Forest School and Eco-Schools programmes, are part of the children's development. Bright Horizons is committed to providing freshly prepared meals, managing allergies diligently, and creating a smooth 'settling in' process for new children and their families, starting up to six weeks before their official start date.
They also support families by providing comprehensive information on available childcare funding options in the UK.

After seeing birds in their garden, children plan and design a scarecrow. Children routinely plant and grow vegetables and herbs as part of their activities.
From the very beginning, I absolutely loved this nursery. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and patient. My daughter started when she was 2 years old and since English is not our first language I knew she would you face some challenges at the beginning. Our experience has been extremely positive. The entire team welcomed her with warmth and kindness supported her through every difficulty and made her feel safe and confident. Thanks to their dedication in just one year she has made amazing progress not only in her English language skills but also in her motor and sensory development. Recently shortly after she turned 3, she showed interest in potty training on her own. We had tried a few times before but together we realised it wasn’t the right moment. The staff kindly advised me to wait until she was truly ready and when the time came it happened naturally and smoothly. I am truly happy and grateful for all the support they have given us and for the wonderful progress my daughter has made. I highly recommend this nursery!
Read on GoogleA fantastic nursery run by genuinely caring and amazing people. Our son joined at 18 months and is now two and a half, and the past year has been nothing short of wonderful. His transition from baby to toddler was seamless, and we couldn’t be more grateful to BH and the brilliant team.
Read on GoogleA wonderful nursery & preschool! Our daughter attended Bracknell BH from being in the baby room when she turned 1, and is now off to school aged nearly 5. She has absolutely loved her time here, and has never had a bad day. The garden is great, excellent food, lots of resources to play with and support with whatever she needs. Lastly, the staff are wonderful and are all so happy, with a very low staff turnover. Also so great to see two long term male staff members here! Management are great, always improving the setting and supporting their staff. We are sad to say goodbye as our daughter moves on to school, but recommend this setting to everyone.
Read on GoogleMy eldest went to Bracknell Day Nursery and Preschool for 3 years and loved it. My youngest has now been there for over a year and also loves it. The staff are brilliant with the kids and are friendly and approachable with the parents. The facilities are great and the staff do lots of activities with the kids to keep them entertained, but also providing learning opportunities. There is a good outdoor space which is well used. The management keep us informed with regular newsletters covering all aspects of the nursery and Preschool. Both of my children have learnt so much during their time at the nursery and we've been happy to leave them in their care.
Read on GoogleReally great nursery, very loving staff. Last few weeks Eddie started to cry a lost each morning after 3 months break but the staff was so lovely and kid with Eddie. He has learnt a lot. Staff are very carrying and taking their job very seriously, combining learning with playing. Just one thing not happy, not happy with the new manager, she's not helpful at all when comes with most of the questions, like payment etc. One day the child came with the head full of sand and we asked the nursery just to pay more attention, but the manager asked us if we want they to stop my child to play in the sand with other kids, instead of helping him to get clean. This is just one example why I don't like the new manager. Everything else is great.
