Bright Horizons operates over 300 nurseries and preschools across the UK, drawing on extensive experience to provide dedicated care and early education. Their core philosophy, the Nurture Approach, prioritises both learning and emotional well-being, aiming to foster healthy, happy children who can reach their full potential.
They focus on creating a supportive environment where skilled practitioners guide children through engaging and inspiring daily activities, building essential life skills. The nursery chain also acknowledges the financial concerns associated with childcare, offering guidance on various government funding schemes to assist families.
They emphasise a smooth transition for new children and families through their non-chargeable settling-in sessions, which can begin up to six weeks before a child's official start date. These sessions are designed to help children become familiar with the nursery environment and build strong relationships with their key person, ensuring a secure and positive start to their nursery journey.
The team works closely with parents to understand each child's unique routines and preferences, ensuring personalised care.

Inclusion & environment
Staff know the children in their care well. They identify children's individual learning needs and interests and plan a good range of activities across all areas of learning. Good systems are in place to monitor children's progress and staff take prompt action to support children who have additional needs. As a result, all children are making good progress in their learning and development and are well prepared for the next stage in their learning.
All children's physical skills are further enhanced while running around and using a range of equipment in the outside play area. Older children show good coordination as they throw and catch balls. Babies and toddlers enjoy climbing and using wheeled toys.
The team at BH Chelsea are truly wonderful. They are kind, organised and create the most loving and nurturing environment for the children there. My daughter could not have been happier and would have gone 7 days a week if that was an option! Becca is an amazing manager - balancing structure and warmth brilliantly. Highly recommend to anyone considering sending their children there.
Read on GoogleEverything is always clean and well organized, which makes the place feel very comfortable and welcoming. Amazing team spirit — you can really feel how much everyone cares about each other. This kind of positive energy has a big impact on children, because they truly sense everything around them. Thank you to everyone for the great work!
Read on GoogleVery happy with this nursery. My daughter has been going there since she is 11 month old. She’s now 2. She’s always happy to go. They have a very nice garden where they play all day if the weather is good. The staff is friendly and professional.
Read on GoogleI got in just because a guy held the door for me. No-one in the reception for around 2 minutes. I heard talking from the back, and after saying hello 4-5 times (and being ignored) a lady came. I asked if she saw a scooter outside the nursery. She was rude, interrupted me and addressed to the child with me saying, "Did you manage to lose it?" while I was talking to her. She clearly distressed the child. She is a risk first for the safety and reliability of this nursery, and most importantly, she is a risk for the kids' welfare. She shouldn't work at a children's care centre as she clearly can not respect kids, let alone she is a bad example herself. I wouldn't want my child nowhere near her and especially I wouldn't want her to educate my child. I can not even think how insulting and disrespectful she is to children when parents are not in front, since she was like that even when I was present. UPDATE: instead of trying so hard to dismiss reviews, what about trying to improve your safety issues as well as your personal behaviour issues? Suggesting my review is fake, please be informed that I don't have spare time reviewing a no-one
