Inspector highlights
Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
"Parents share that they feel extremely well supported and safe in leaving their children."
"Parents share how staff go above and beyond to ensure that any parent or carer can be included in their children's learning or special events."
"They share how they appreciate the various communication methods used and how they can access a range of resources and activities to continue their children's learning at home."
Inclusion & environment
Management and staff are quick to identify emerging gaps in children's learning and development. They work exceptionally hard to address these, secure timely interventions and seek targeted support for individual children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They work closely with parents, schools and other professionals to ensure that all children receive the interactions they need to maximise their progress.
Pre-school children explore ideas about aeroplanes and consider whether they will fly further if flown outside. Children talk about their nature walks and their trips out in the locality. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
Looking for a childcare setting for your most beloved and precious little baby can be extremely daunting. Bright horizons Farnham settled that fear and anxiety I had around leaving my baby with someone else whilst I returned to work. From the moment I took my first steps through their door on my tour, I knew that this was the setting I wanted my daughter to thrive in. The staff were very friendly and greeted myself and my baby in a caring manner and also ensured I followed the right safeguarding procedure upon entering (I am a school teacher so the fact they asked me to sign in and show a valid form of identification before allowing me to enter the building was a huge tick in that box - especially as I pictured my daughter being in that building when other prospective parents were being shown around knowing that she would be safeguarded in that way, too). Tracy and her staff ensured that upon starting, my baby had bespoke settling in sessions to make her transition the best it could possibly be. Now she has started, I know that this setting is the right place for my baby and the communication between staff and parents/carers is phenomenal! No wonder they have received outstanding in their past two ofsted inspections.
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending this nursery for well over 3 years on a part-time basis. He is now in the pre-school section & starts school in September. The care he has received here has been fantastic & I am kept well informed about his day. I feel confident to leave him & staff are always friendly, welcoming & my son loves spending time with them. He has formed a bond he often speaks about at home. The activities he does are varied & he has learnt a lot. All staff have done an amazing job to continue providing such a great service during such difficult times with Covid still ongoing & communication has been as always, excellent. I highly recommend this nursery & always do to anyone looking for one.
Read on GoogleContacted this nursery to visit with a view to sending our daughter here. They contacted us to cancel our viewing on the day. They were unwilling to book us in for another viewing and have not contacted us since. We've reached out to them several times to try and rebook a viewing but without success. We'd be concerned that if this how they treat prospective customers, what is their treatment of existing customers like. No experience of their childcare services.
