Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
"Parents comment that the staff are caring, kind and considerate and know their children well."
"They feel their children are safe and well prepared to start school."
Inclusion & environment
Staff provide an inclusive setting and ensure that all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, benefit from a full range of learning experiences. For example, children take part in woodwork, sports, and yoga sessions.
Children have good opportunities to engage in risky play, such as jumping from large tyres in the garden, while being supported by adults. Staff encourage children to be safe and reinforce rules, like wearing helmets when using bikes, which children demonstrate understanding of by tapping their heads and retrieving helmets from the shed. Inspectors observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
We are very grateful for the care and support our son received from the childcare team at Tootsies. The staff in all of his rooms were consistently kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in his wellbeing and development. He was made to feel welcome and valued, and it was clear that the team cared deeply about the children they looked after. We always appreciated hearing about his day and the relationships built with the staff. While our circumstances have since changed, we want to recognise the dedication and warmth of the childcare team and thank them for the care they provided during our son’s time at the nursery.
Read on GoogleWe love Tootsies and have tried 3 nurseries over the years. They always provide rich opportunities for the kids: not just in the classroom but also yoga, sports, trips to old people's homes, making smoothiesand pizzas etc. Which stands out amongst all the other nurseries. Staff always give lots of love to my daughter and are very friendly to tired mums and give great updates at the end of the day. Sad to be "graduating" to big school this year...
