My son went to Bright horizons last year. I am extremely disappointed by the care they took. They don't try to help the infants settle in or ask them twice or more to eat the food. If you love your kids, look else where

Babies room was spot on fast forward the settling in phase she was happy when we dropped her she would jump to Lauren and Jenifer’s lap (both of whom has now left) they would also update the app regularly apart from the odd occasion when they were busy but most importantly showed my daughter the care she deserved, also followed our instructions whilst putting her to sleep and feeding her etc. I was extremely disappointed with the care my daughter Zara received in the toddlers’ room at Bright Horizons Finchley Central. Last week, I overheard a staff member speaking to my daughter in a harsh and unprofessional tone, raising their voice and saying, “Oh my god, (her name), stop crying,” followed by, “You need to stop crying now, it’s enough.” This lack of empathy, combined with other ongoing issues—such as disregarded instructions, poor communication, and my daughters visible stress—has shattered our trust in the nursery. We’ve made the difficult decision to withdraw her. I hope this review encourages improvements for the sake of other children. Just wanted to share my honest review and experience.

With the news going around, this will give more insights of all parents bringing their kids to nurseries, they need to know that cctv was installed everywhere and assured them of the safety of the children.workers in this nursery school should be investigated or check their background.

My kid got bitten by another kid here twice. Another time she picked up something on the floor and put it in her mouth without being noticed until I went to pick her up and took it out of her mouth, which really made me angry. Several times they didn't change her nappy for an entire afternoon, and they didn't even give an immediate update on my baby's status. Even if I am working, I cannot feel at ease. Her key person is careful, but as long as she is no longer there, my child will be taken care of badly, and they will not reply to me if I have any questions, which is really a bad feeling. I personally don't recommend this nursery.

Updated I am really happy with the nursery. My daughter is doing well, she enjoys going and is happy at the end of her day. A really good balance of rules/boundaries and love/nurturing/learning. I would recommend to parents looking for a nursery place for their little one. *updated to 5 stars. They have really turned it round :) Just thought I should review as they have some negative reviews. I agree up to recently there were problems with a lack of consistency with regards keyworkers and a lack of communication. So much so, I complained and looked elsewhere. Also, they closed without notice and have shortened their hours over school hols which is just not good enough. HOWEVER, this was because of lack of staff and in the last month or so they have got MUCH better and my daughter is happy. They are doing good activities and communication is better. The keyworkers in the nursery room seem loving and caring and I think this is really important. I hope they maintain this.
