We had a wonderful experience with this nursery. From the very beginning the staff were incredibly supportive; both during onboarding and throughout our time there. They were so caring with my child and with me, which made a huge difference during the stressful period of finding a nursery and returning to work. They answered every one of my (many many) questions and always made us feel reassured and welcomed. My child really came into his own while attending, and it was lovely to see how much confidence and independence he gained. I am so grateful for the kindness and care shown to our family.
Read on GoogleMy daughter is attending ely nursery and we are very happy with the staff and the service. She is happy to go in there as they perform a lot of activities and they keep them entertained. She is learning a lot and she comes and tells us all. Her little brother will join them as well. I truly recommend everyone to join. Great nursery
Read on GoogleI attended a recent show round at Ely Nursery and unfortunately left with a number of serious concerns regarding the environment and overall standards. The premises appeared old and, in several areas, visibly unclean. The rooms seemed too small to comfortably and safely accommodate the number of children present. In particular, the downstairs room near the garden appeared overcrowded for its size, which raised concerns about safety and supervision. While many of the toys did not appear damaged, they were noticeably old and limited in variety, which may affect the quality of play and learning opportunities available to children. I also observed what appeared to be mold in certain areas, along with some broken equipment and damaged items that did not seem to have been addressed. Resources overall seemed insufficient for the number of children attending. The buggy storage area was overcrowded and appeared to obstruct one of the doors, which could present a significant health and safety risk, particularly in the event of an emergency evacuation. There was also a persistent unpleasant odour within the setting, at times resembling faeces, which is concerning in a childcare environment. Additionally, the location of the downstairs children’s toilet directly next to the kitchen raised hygiene concerns. Based on my experience, even a one-star rating feels generous given the number of issues observed. I sincerely hope these matters are addressed as a priority, as the health, safety, and wellbeing of children should always come first.
Read on GoogleAbsolutely wonderful nursery! My son has been attending ELY for a while now, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the care and attention he receives. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely care about our child’s wellbeing and development. They’ve been incredibly flexible and accommodating with our sometimes tricky schedule, which we really appreciate. The communication with parents is also excellent; we always feel in the loop about what’s going on. The daily regular updates on Family App is great. We are so grateful we found ELY, it’s such a special place. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a nurturing and supportive setting for their little one!
Read on GoogleBoth my daughters attended ELY Nursery, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care and love they received. My eldest, Clara, was part of the nursery for three years — starting in the baby room at just seven months old. From the very beginning, Clara absolutely loved going to nursery. She was always excited to arrive and often didn’t want to leave at the end of the day! Even now, six weeks after leaving, she still asks to go back — especially to see Sharina, Andzelika, and Ana, who made a lasting impression on her. Clara formed beautiful relationships with both the children and the staff she grew up with. Even as she transitioned through different rooms, she would always find her way back to the baby room to visit the girls who cared for her so warmly. Her little sister Natalie, now 11 months old, settled in within a couple of days — a true testament to the nurturing environment. She’s received endless comfort and care from the staff, and it’s been reassuring to see her so content and secure from the very start. ELY Nursery gave both my daughters a joyful, loving start to their early years, and I’ll always appreciate the genuine bonds and happy memories they made there.
