Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language receive good levels of support. Staff work closely with parents and other professionals to ensure a shared approach to their learning.
Children have regular opportunities to play outdoors and experience fresh air. This develops their physical skills. A new curriculum has recently been introduced with much more focus on outdoor learning and supporting children's holistic development.
Finding a nursery you trust in this day and age can be tough. But I cannot say a single bad word about bright horizons Putney the staff always go above and beyond, I cannot thank them enough for the young person my child has turned out to be. Their care goes beyond the nursery to transition into reception or education needs help outside of nursery. All of the children get along whether in pre school room or nursery room. Honestly fantastic and highly recommend.
Read on GoogleRachel and her team are incredible. We were so nervous about our 10 month old going to nursery but he soon started smiling as soon as we arrived at the front door. They offer a huge range of activities that potentially someone would not be able to do at home. Whenever we came into contact with the carers they were always so happy and motivated and gave us fabulous feedback and incredible detail on how our boy’s day had gone. Evie was a delight to do a handover with on evening pick-ups. Our son also barely had a cold (from teething) after so many people told us he’d be sick for months from nursery. I genuinely feel it’s because of Rachel’s high standards and the incredible care delivered by her team that our now one year old is such chatty and walking! Thank you thank you thank you! (Prices for nurseries are generally very expensive in Putney, everything is included and the level of care makes it worth every Penny, however it is pricey)
Read on GoogleHi, We would highly recommend this nursery to anyone. We are confident in April and her teams ability to not only look after but develop our son who has now been there for nearly 2 years. They do creative activities, keep us informed of his development and have most recently supported us on his potty training adventure. I absolutely love that he goes through 2 changes of clothes a day and comes home absolutely exhausted- proof of a jam packed schedule of engaging and interactive activities. Thanks. Laura
Read on GoogleImpressively managed by April and her deputy Rachel. The staff is just brilliant, professional, friendly and have a great personal touch with all the kids. I always enjoy how passionately they speak about my kids’ development and the funny things they say. I feel a personal attachment to some of the staff there and am so grateful for the love and attention they show my two kids. When we could enter the property there was always a great feeling from all the kids in the rooms. Very happy all together and with their wonderful caters. Not a huge outdoor space but they still manage to spend as much of everyday outside as they can. Rain, sun, snow. Bright Horizons is sometimes considered less than top quality but this one is very different to what I had expected. I think down to management and staff. It’s Ofsted Outstanding for good reason. They encourage creativity and exploring activities the kids like best, including quietly reading to themselves or dressing up etc. On top of this, my eldest’s writing, spelling, counting, numeracy, and shapes are all very good and it’s not because of anything I’ve done with her. It’s because of the wonderful ladies in the preschool!
Read on GoogleIm sure all first time parents would agree that finding a nursery can be daunting. We looked at so many and decided to stick with Putney Brighthorizon because in the first 15minutes of being there we just got that feeling. The staff are absolutely brilliant. Big thumps up frome me.
