Our first daughter attended Gwendolen from one year old until she went to school. It was the first nursery we looked at when we moved to Putney and no others could compete. The key standout elements for us were how happy the children were, how wonderfully nurturing and genuinely interested and loving the staff were, the amazing outdoor space and the incredible menus/chefs. It was so hard to go back to work and leave her after maternity leave but I knew Gwendolen would look after and nurture her. The regular photos and daily log were great and they have regular parents’ evenings to provide feedback as well as at drop off/collection. I was also on the PNA for two years where all parent feedback is carefully considered. Our youngest sadly only attended for a few months (we moved out of London). She loved the animals in particular - hens, fish, rabbits and a tortoise or two! There were water games on hot days and shows, sports days etc. We would highly recommend Gwendolen to any parents looking for a nursery in Putney. Not only have our children made lifelong friends so have we. We really do miss it!

We found Gwendolen House on the recommendation of a close family friend (and incredibly skilled mother) who sent her children there, and it did not disappoint. It is a friendly, loving environment. Over three years our child has been nurtured and cared for, encouraged to grow emotionally and intellectually, and was always safe and well fed (the food is fantastic). The nursery emphasizes time outdoors - critical especially for children growing up in an urban environment - and has a beautiful garden, often with rabbits or chickens or a tortoise, so that the children can practice caring for and interacting with animals. There are regular parent-teacher evenings at which feedback is provided and parents are given helpful guidelines for what they can do to support key stages of development. We are looking forward to sending our second child to Gwendolen House!

We are so grateful for the incredible experience our two children had at Gwendolen House. They both attended full time from age 1 to 4, and we can't recommend this nursery highly enough. Both of our children thrived at GH. As parents, we always felt confident and reassured knowing they were happy and in the care of such wonderful teachers. The in house chefs provided a fantastic variety of nutritious meals, and the focus on healthy eating was impressive. The beautiful garden with animals was a highlight; it offered a unique and enriching outdoor experience for the children. The staff at Gwendolen House are incredibly dedicated and caring. We were particularly impressed by the low staff turnover, which created a stable and supportive environment. Gwendolen House also fostered a strong sense of community among parents. We enjoyed the picnics, celebrations, and social events they organized. The year end shows, Christmas performances, ballet shows, and sports days were absolute highlights that we were looking forward. It's clear that there is a strong and experienced management team behind this exceptional nursery. When we left the nursery, we only had good memories. Gwendolen House will always hold a special place in our hearts for playing a major role in the early year development of our most valuable things in our lives ; our children. We highly recommend Gwendolen House to any parents looking for a nurturing and stimulating environment for their children.

We couldn’t be happier with the care our son receives at Gwendolen House Nursery. We are highly impressed by the warm, nurturing environment, and the passionate, dedicated staff who genuinely care about our child’s well-being and development. Our standout feature of Gwendolen House Nursery is its exceptional outdoor space. It’s an inspiring area for exploration and discovery. The children have the freedom to enjoy fresh air, learn about the environment, and get involved in hands-on activities, all within a safe and beautifully maintained space. Indoors, the facilities are equally impressive – spacious, homely, and filled with engaging activities and resources to help the children learn and develop through play. My son has made wonderful progress since joining, becoming more confident and independent with each day. Communication with parents is also fantastic. I always feel well-informed about his progress and the activities he's been enjoying. I would wholeheartedly recommend Gwendolen House Nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing environment for their child to learn, while having lots of fun.

I can't emphasise enough how much Gwendolen House has become a part of our lives. Our son has attended here for 3 years and we couldn't be happier with every aspect of this nursery. Choosing a nursery is always a difficult decision for parents and I just wanted somewhere where I could be confident leaving my son and Gwendolen gave me that peace of mind. The teachers are exceptionally warm and take genuine care of the children and I feel that, as parents, we have also fostered our own relationship with them. My first interaction with Gwendolen was on the guided tour given by Natalie, where we saw all the staff and children going about their daily routine. It was obvious to me how comfortable and happy the children were. I also met Aneta and Mary on the same day and they made us feel instantly at ease. When I met the White Oaks teachers upstairs I felt like I was in a home from home and made my decision that my son would thrive in this beautiful, vibrant environment. I signed up for his place the same day. I have entirely trusted Gwendolen House with my son and can give no greater endorsement than that. Any child who attends here is very, very fortunate.
