We feel incredibly grateful to have had both of our children attend Bright Horizons from 11 months old. They are now 5 and 7, and looking back over the years, choosing Bright Horizons was one of the best decisions we made as parents. The nurturing environment the team creates is truly exceptional. From the baby room through to preschool, every stage has been filled with warmth, care and genuine attention to each child as an individual. The staff take the time to really know the children - their personalities, their routines, their quirks, and that personal approach has always given us huge peace of mind. One thing that has consistently stood out is their attention to detail and attentiveness to wellbeing. On more than one occasion, they’ve noticed subtle changes in our daughter and flagged them to us before we had picked up on anything ourselves. That level of care and awareness speaks volumes about how closely they support the children day to day. Safeguarding is clearly a priority, and it shows. The nursery has robust safeguarding measures and strong governance in place, and communication is always transparent and professional. As parents, that reassurance is invaluable. Beyond safety and care, the education and development support has been fantastic. Both of our children have grown in confidence, independence and curiosity during their time there. They have built friendships and memories that will stay with them. We couldn’t recommend Bright Horizons highly enough to any parent looking for a nurturing, attentive and well-run nursery environment with a very hands-on management team. It has been such a special place for our family.
Read on GoogleWe’ve been a part of this nursery for 8 years, with both of our children starting here as babies. The staff are warm and caring being led by the fantastic Alyson at the helm. It’s been amazing to watch our daughters grow in such a nurturing and supportive environment. We're sad to say goodbye but couldn’t have asked for a better start to their early years!
Read on GoogleMy child has been going to this nursery since he was a baby for 3 years now and i can honestly say that the teachers and other staff members have been wonderful. Everyone that i've encountered has been very helpful and friendly. My son seems to have a very good relationship with the teachers which i think tells you a lot about how the kids are treated in school. Accidents and incidents are always reported, your child's progress are discussed in detail. Queries are always dealt with in an professional and efficient manner. I would highly recommend this nursery.
Read on GoogleAbsolutely lovely staff and fun educational place for your child!. My child was here from the age of 1 1/2 years up until 4 (nursery). My daughter is on the autism spectrum and found starting school very difficult however staff never gave up and did the very best possible and she actually enjoyed going school later on. The staff is very understanding and patient. Thank you to you all!
Read on GoogleGreat nursery & convenient location / opening times for commuting parents. My daughter loves nursery. She's been going to Southgate bright horizons for a year and she gets so excited whenever it's a nursery day. She can't wait to climb up the entrance steps and start having fun. Over the 2020 pandemic the staff went above and beyond. They reopened asap and were so professional, I felt safe sending my daughter back to nursery. I am so happy that we picked this nursery, the only downside I can think of is that they don't take and upload pictures to an app like other nurseries. They did have an app but no longer use it.
