About this day nursery

Bright Horizons operates approximately 300 nurseries and preschools across the UK, offering childcare solutions designed to support working families. The organisation prioritises a child-centred approach, focusing on nurturing environments where children can develop and learn.

Their educational philosophy, known as 'The Nurture Approach', integrates learning with emotional well-being, aiming to foster healthy, happy, and well-rounded children. Dedicated practitioners guide children through their developmental journey, offering inspiring learning experiences and encouraging the simple joys of childhood.

Bright Horizons also provides resources and support to families regarding childcare funding options and offers non-chargeable settling-in sessions to ensure a smooth transition for children into the nursery environment. These sessions, which can begin up to six weeks before a child's start date, focus on familiarising children and parents with the nursery's surroundings and staff, particularly the designated 'Key Person', to build trust and emotional security.

The nursery encourages parent involvement during these initial visits, gradually transitioning to periods where the child stays independently, adapting to each child's unique needs and pace of settling.

Both of my daughters attended this nursery and we loved it so much! My youngest has just started school and is so happy and well prepared, which is a testament to the work the nursery have done with her. It’s a beautiful purpose built setting, recently refurbished, with a lovely outdoor space and a mud garden! From the management to the cooks, everyone is so friendly and lovely and my daughters thrived there. We will miss everyone so much, and will come back to visit!

Well both my kids attended this nursery. I was not very skeptical of putting them here, anyway after repeated email follow up we finally got to see the nursery inside. Well it's nice and proper. After my children started pre nursery, I realised that nursery assistants were nice and friendly but some of the staffs were a bit lazy. Alison is good but not very friendly. She didn't talk much neither showed signs of discussing how my children is doing.. Once she asked if I send children wearing new diapers! I mean ridiculously mean question which I answered patiently... They don't have proper app for day to activity follow up. I had to repeatedly ask what my children did. Well if you are looking for cheap nursery, you have to adjust a bit I believe.. Rest was OK.. Thankful for their well behaviour.

The best nursery around! My eldest attended from the age of 1 and spent 3 lovely years here and now my youngest has started 6 weeks ago and the standards haven’t changed. All the team is amazing and I can name everyone because the service is consistent across the team. I will always recommend.

My little boy has been coming here since he was 11 months old. He's now 4 years old and absolutely loves it. Through the years at Wembley Bright Horizons he has loved his teachers, he talks very highly of them all now. The staff have supported him in his educational and personal development. They have been a great help to me with his potty training! He has made lots of friends. He loves all the activities he does. The nursery have a lovely outdoors area. I would highly recommend your child coming here, I have one very happy boy. He will miss everyone when he leaves.
