Harmony Montessori Nursery, situated in Wembley, offers a unique educational approach that integrates the Montessori Method with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. The nursery is housed in a spacious and bright pavilion within Preston Park, providing children with a nurturing environment that encourages exploration and learning in idyllic natural surroundings.

The outdoor space features well-tended grounds, trees, and shrubs, with easy access to a fenced play area within the park. Harmony Montessori believes in fostering a bond of shared values, experiences, and opportunities among children, parents, and staff, aiming to help each child maximise their potential.

The nursery emphasises physical development through its stimulating indoor and outdoor environments, social-emotional growth by promoting positive relationships and respecting others, and mental development through spontaneous choices and challenges. They understand the critical importance of early years in a child's development, with 80% of mental growth occurring before the age of eight.

The curriculum is designed to help children develop essential life skills such as emotional intelligence, creativity, critical thinking, coordination, and negotiation. The nursery also offers a 5% sibling discount and financial aid based on availability.

They aim to secure current tuition rates for families not receiving financial assistance who complete 20 hours of service. Parents are encouraged to be part of the community and the child's learning journey.

What it's like

All children are happy to enter the setting and excitedly go to play. Staff take time to get to know each individual child and use a variety of teaching methods to support children to make good progress. Children demonstrate high levels of engagement in activities and are curious about what is going on around them.
