I cannot express enough how wonderful our experience has been with Bright Horizons West Hampstead. From the moment we first visited, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly attentive and genuinely care about the wellness of each child. They take the time to understand individual needs and preferences, ensuring that every child feels comfortable and included. The communication with parents is excellent; we always feel well-informed about our LO progress and daily activities. Our child is thriving here, making new friends and developing new skills. We are grateful to have found such a nurturing and professional environment for our little one. Thank you, Bright Horizons, for providing such a positive and enriching experience!

We’ve had a great experience with Bright Horizons. The staff are kind and warm, and work really hard in what is a very challenging job! The managers take great pride in running the nursery to a high standard. Entrusting your kids (especially babies!) to anyone’s are takes a leap of faith, and they have definitely lived up to it.

We are extremly happy that we have decided on BH nursery. All of staff are caring, attentive and nurturing. They always offer advice on any milestones or developments. Our son has started at the nursery when he was 10 months in baby room and now has moved to toddlers, both us as parents and he have been fully supported throughout. We cannot recommend BH nursery highly enough. Big shout out to Shanika, Paola, Naz and Brunilda for an outstanding care!

I have two children currently at BH, one in the toddler 1 room and one in preschool. Both kids are very happy there and I am very pleased with the nursery. My eldest has been at BH since he was 12 months old (now 3.5). Every room he has been in since then has been filled with caring, patient and attentive staff- particularly toddler 1, 2-3s and preschool. As a COVID baby, my son had huge separation anxiety which was distressing for both of us. It took him a while to settle. The staff however did everything they could to reassure me and him and they were patient and caring. I left him there knowing he would be well looked after and cared for. They would regularly send me pictures and updates to show he was doing well, and would be extremely patient when I would call multiple times to see how he was doing! Exactly what I needed as an anxious first time mum. Since going into 2-3s and now preschool his development has excelled and in both rooms he has been taught so many important skills (as well as having lots of fun) and he genuinely loves going to nursery. The staff in both rooms truly care for the kids and their development. The staff in the 2-3 room also potty trained him at 2.5yo!! Saved me a task I was dreading. He is also now writing his name and showing more interest in learning (not just running around) which is a testament to the preschool staff’s perseverance and patience. My youngest is in toddler 1 and he has settled like a dream. The staff there are fantastic- they genuinely love and care for the kids and I couldn’t ask for more. He is constantly reassured, cuddled and entertained and they all really look out for the best interests of all the children. You can tell they care about the children a lot and don’t see it as just a job- that was my main concern about sending my kids to nursery when they were so young, but I’m pleased to say that’s not the case at all. Reception and the managers are also fantastic. A lovely bunch of people to see every morning. They are responsive and helpful, they listen to and take on feedback (both positive and constructive) and try their best to make our lives easy. They know all the kids and parents by name and it really feels like such a nice happy and positive place from the moment you walk through the door. Some more general points- - the nursery is currently undergoing a refurb and the completed rooms look great. The facilities for the children are getting even better - the garden is very spacious and the kids love it there. Both my children go into the garden daily, sometimes more when the weather is good - in my experience, there is a very low turnover of staff. The staff who I liked during my eldest’s time are still there looking after my youngest, which I love. It looks like the staff are very happy working there, which is so important. - communication is excellent. They will not hesitate to phone me if they need to update me on something (and thankfully start the conversation with “don’t worry he is fine” so that I don’t freak out!). They also update the app regularly and get pictures daily. If I need to speak to them I can get hold of them very easily and internal communication is also very good. - the food is great, very varied and healthy too. Both my kids enjoy the food and my eldest who is a picky eater seems to eat very well there. The first few days when my toddler was settling and was refusing meals they would offer alternatives so that he didn’t go hungry, even outside of the set mealtimes. - the nursery has events for parents to come during the day ie Christmas show (which was adorable), Mother’s Day, world book day and other celebrations. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery. More than anything, I wanted my kids to go to a nursery where I knew they would be loved and cared for, with trustworthy people, and that has been my experience throughout.

Our 9 month old baby is very happy here, she has been learning a lot and is very well cared for. The carers are wonderful. They are very inventive and play many different games with the little ones, music, sensory games with water and painting... they have also started going out into the garden more regularly when it is nice out. It is never easy to start nursery and requires a good amount of trust. I have found Active Learning to be attentive and responsive if I had any concerns. The little one seems to feel at home when I leave her there in the morning.
