About this day nursery

Gan Yeladim is a London-based nursery focused on providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for young children, blending traditional Jewish heritage with a broad educational curriculum. They believe the preschool years are crucial for a child's development, influencing their future cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth.

The day nursery aims to foster a love for learning by encouraging inquisitiveness and self-discovery, ultimately developing curious and independent lifelong learners. They prioritise making every child feel respected, loved, and supported in reaching their full potential.

Gan Yeladim also emphasises strong partnerships with parents to positively impact children’s learning journeys and invests in its team through continuous training to ensure high-quality childcare and early years education.

Our ethos

Gan Yeladim fosters a love for learning by encouraging inquisitiveness and self-discovery, aiming to develop curious and independent lifelong learners. They believe the preschool years are crucial for development and aim to instil Jewish heritage alongside a broad curriculum, ensuring every child feels respected, loved and supported.

What it's like

Children happily return to nursery and settle in after the summer break, benefiting from warm welcomes and nurturing staff interactions that build strong connections and comfort. However, attendance records are not always accurately maintained, posing a challenge for identifying individuals on the premises, although regular headcounts ensure staff know the number of children present. The curriculum currently limits engagement by not consistently considering children's interests or developmental stages, despite staff fostering positive behaviours and relationships through positive role modelling and encouragement.

Gan Yeladim is truly the best nursery in London! The team is incredibly caring, warm, and attentive — you can tell they genuinely love what they do. Our child settled in so quickly and comes home happy every day. The environment is nurturing and joyful, filled with meaningful activities that support each child’s growth. The food is fantastic — healthy, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. It’s such a relief knowing our child is not only well cared for but also eating well and thriving. We feel so lucky to be part of the Gan Yeladim family. Highly recommended to any parent looking for a loving, professional, and happy place for their little one!

Honestly, I feel so lucky to have found this nursery! We were looking for a while for the right place for our son and when we found Gan Yeladim we knew it was the one - and we just continue to get happier with our decision. My daughter now also attends and they ( and we) absolutely love the nursery. Every day is filled with creative activities, out door play, Jewish values, crafts and music- just so much fun, warmth and care. It’s the perfect environment for little children, and every staff member and teacher has been so nurturing and caring. Best nursery, best team.
