I wasn’t originally planning to write this review, but I feel I have to because I’m still dealing with the long-term effects of my child’s experience at this nursery. Firstly, I want to say that the 2–3 years group was absolutely fine—I have no complaints about that stage. However, I strongly urge parents to avoid the 3–4 years group at all costs. My child was fully toilet trained before starting nursery. However, I often picked him up soaking wet. I raised this issue with staff every single day, and every time I was told the same thing: "He was just in the toilet five minutes ago." Despite packing two full sets of spare clothes, I frequently found my child in the nursery’s spare clothing—still wet—meaning he was having 4-5 accidents per day. He became so used to being wet all day that, even a year later, we’re still struggling. He no longer feels discomfort when wet, because he spent so much time that way at nursery. It’s been incredibly hard to undo this. I continued to raise concerns daily, but nothing changed—until one day I picked him up and he was soaked in his own wee. That’s when I got angry and told them I would report them to Ofsted. Only then did they start taking him to the toilet more regularly. I’m sharing this so other parents can be aware and make informed decisions. I now have ongoing issues with my child that could have been avoided with proper care and attention. Please be careful when choosing this nursery.

My eldest son went here for nearly 3 years and now my daughter goes here and will do until school age. The girls are absolutely fantastic. My daughter has additional needs, and they are so good with her, understanding, willing to learn and adapt with her, they are just great in every way! They are always flexible where they can be and willing to help in any way they can. Highly recommend Bright Skies to anyone. Your child will be safe and very well looked after by the girls here. Both my children have attended Bright Skies from a young age and I can’t recommend the Nursery enough. Lovely reliable, polite, professional and approachable staff who have your child’s best interests at heart. All the staff put my mind at ease when I had to leave my children in their care. They also learnt a lot and I feel this put my eldest ahead when he started school. The 3-5’s class prepared my little boy for school and he was learning phonics and maths amoungst many other curriculum topics before he had even started school. Brilliant nursery!
