Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported effectively. The special educational needs coordinator works well with parents and professionals involved in the children's care to fully support them to achieve. Targeted group work has been introduced for children who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Outdoor space

Children have opportunities to enjoy fresh air. They develop their large-muscle skills as they run and play outside. However, the outside area does not yet fully support opportunities to learn across different areas of the curriculum.

Bright Start Nursery is an incredible support system for all three of my children and myself. The environment is warm, nurturing and truly centred around child development. The staff genuinely go above and beyond every single day. They take the time to understand each child’s needs, celebrate their achievements, and encourage their development in such thoughtful ways. The handovers at pick-up are always detailed and reassuring, and I leave feeling informed, supported, and confident that my children have had a meaningful day. As a parent, I’ve felt so supported by the team. They’ve helped me through challenges, listened without judgement, and consistently shown how much they care about the children and families who attend. Bright start is everything and more a parent could ever want in a childcare provider.

Bright Start have been the most fantastic setting for our son who joined in 2020 as a one year old. He has learnt so much and been so wonderfully supported through his learning journey from nursery to pre-school. Bright Start have been consistently fantastic! They were absolute troopers throughout the pandemic. This year is our son's last year at Bright Start and we are so sad but excited for the next steps of his continuous learning curve. We would thoroughly recommend to anyone.
