Inclusion & environment
The special educational needs and/or disability coordinator (SENCo) is highly knowledgeable and works effectively to ensure that all children achieve a good level of development at the nursery. Along with the staff team, the SENCo helps support children as they experience changes, such as moves between rooms or on to the next setting.
Staff help older children to climb, balance and make use of equipment to promote their coordination and spatial awareness. The inspector discussed the intent of the curriculum and observed its implementation during activities, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact this has on children's learning.
It’s always daunting when you have to leave your child in the care of someone else, however child first have made this a lot easier for us. All the staff are brilliant but we have to say a special recognition to Sarah and Skye for taking such good care of Bodhi. He always leaves the nursery with a smile on his face and a tummy full of yummy food! We would recommend this nursery to anyone ⭐️
Read on GoogleMy daughter has been going to Child First since she was 9 months old, and is now 3, and will be moving up to Child First preschool in January. She has loved her time at this nursery and will be sad to say goodbye to the staff (and any friends not following her to the same preschool). The staff have been great with her, I have every confidence that she is well looked after everyday. I love that she spends a lot of time outdoors and doing messy play, and aside the tablet used to take photos of the kids for tapestry updates, there are no other screens, which is great. I highly recommend this nursery and am very glad I chose it for my daughter.
Read on GoogleMy little one had a great time here and has greatly benefited her development. Thank you!
