About this day nursery

Broadstone Christian Nursery, established in 1991 by Mrs. Gwladys Vaughan, offers a nurturing and stimulating environment where children from 2 to 8 years old can learn through play. Mrs. Vaughan, a former Headteacher, founded the nursery with the vision that young children should have a wide array of experiences and opportunities to develop self-confidence and a love for learning.

Her daughter, Penny, continues to uphold this founding ethos, ensuring a high standard of care and education. The nursery operates from a purpose-built facility featuring an adjoining outdoor space, complete with an all-weather shelter and a rustic kitchen, encouraging free-flow play between indoor and outdoor areas.

Embracing a Christian philosophy, the nursery bases its values on biblical teachings, fostering an environment of care and sharing while welcoming children of all backgrounds and individual needs.
