About this day nursery

Bubbly Day Nursery strives to offer an excellent standard of childcare at an affordable price, fostering a secure and comfortable atmosphere where children and their families can feel at home. The nursery recognises parents and carers as crucial educators in their children's lives, aiming to build strong, trusting relationships with them.

Its vision is to bolster the development of children and their families within the Brent community by delivering a high-quality, integrated play and learning environment. Established by Linda, a mother with a clear vision for an ideal nursery, Bubbly focuses on creating a fun, friendly, caring, stimulating, and joyful space for children to flourish.

The dedicated staff team is committed to encouraging each child to reach their full potential. In its most recent Ofsted inspection in January 2019, Bubbly Day Nursery was rated as "GOOD" across all inspected areas, including leadership and management, quality of teaching, learning and assessment, personal development, behaviour and welfare, and outcomes for children.

The nursery appears to be located at Bertie Road Resource Centre in Willesden, London NW10 2LH.

Here at Bubbly we aim to provide a high standard of childcare at a reasonable rate. We recognise parents and carers as the children’s first educators. This is why we aim to build a trusting relationship with you in order to create a nursery in which you and your child or children can feel secure and at home in! By providing a high quality integrated play and learning environment, our vision helps to strengthen and support the development of children and their families within the local communities of BRENT. Bubbly Day Nursery’s staff aims to encourage your child to be the best that they can be.

What it's like to attend

Children form warm and positive relationships, supported by a key-person system and predictable routines, making progress through carefully planned activities and staff interactions.

  • Older children demonstrate positive self-care skills, using tissues, washing hands, and using the toilet with minimal adult support.

  • Staff consistently promote healthy food and drink choices and practise positive self-care routines throughout the day.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and staff identify children's special educational needs and/or disabilities early, gathering information from parents and carers and completing baseline assessments. They are familiar with agreed approaches to support children, assessing needs, planning activities, carrying out meaningful play-based activities, and reviewing next steps. They also have effective links with the local authority and liaise actively with them.

Outdoor space

Children have access to daily outdoor play and the small park attached to the setting for gross motor skill development. While a dedicated outdoor area for gross motor play is still under development, temporary adaptations like extra staffing and daily park visits are in place.

EAL / language support

Leaders typically reduce barriers for children who speak English as an additional language by speaking to parents and carers, using translations, or seeking support from those who speak a similar language to gather information. Staff model key words and phrases. However, on occasion, staff use simplified language rather than the correct terminology with the children, impacting the accuracy of teaching and modelling, and preventing children from hearing correct pronunciation to extend their vocabularies.

I would like to thank Zufan and the team for everything you have done for my daughter. You made her feel at home, and my husband and I are truly impressed with the incredible progress she has made since joining the nursery. She was not speaking before, and now she has started talking—something we are so grateful for. Above all, thank you for being so kind, caring, and loving toward our daughter. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the incredible care and dedication you show every day. Since my child Ayub joined the nursery, I have seen such a transformation in his confidence and social skills. When he started, he was very shy and extremely attached to me, which made me worry about how he’d adjust. But thanks to your nurturing environment and encouragement, he’s blossomed in ways I couldn’t have imagined. He is now more comfortable exploring on his own, engaging with others, and even expressing himself in new ways.
