Building Blocks is such a wonderful nursery! The staff are amazing - many have been at the nursery a long time which is a great. They are so caring and the children love them. The flexibility you get as a parent is fab, being able to change or add days is so valuable. Really impressed with the range of activities they do, they bring in Playball teachers, Rainbow Anna and Diddy Dance as well as drama teachers so the children get a great a really varied day. The garden is a great space and I love that they are out there all year. Impressed with the pre-school teaching too - my daughter is already learning phonics and can write her own name. It’s a hidden gem in Walton!

The team at Building Blocks are lovely and all long term members of staff. They genuinely care deeply about what they do and the children. My eldest (now in reception) loved her time here - from the cuddles and hair dos to the fantastic preschool where she was writing her name, sounding out letters and counting. My youngest currently in the baby room is already thriving with her speech and motor skills. Some mornings she struggles leaving me and within minutes I’ve have a WhatsApp pic from the team showing me her happily playing away. A super warm environment where the children feel safe and loved away from home. They also have a fantastic range of activities by external providers eg Rainbow Anna, Diddy Dance, Phonics and sport - you will not get this offering at any other nursery in the area!!! Highly recommend. :)

We have two children at Building Blocks. One is now in his final year. They have been brilliant throughout his time there, he has learnt so much, we've been really impressed. We can see already how they are preparing him for school and it's more than we expected. Our little one has only just started but he's settled in so quickly and loves it already. The staff are wonderful, they were the main reason we chose this nursery, they genuinely care so much about the children which means a lot to us as parents. The extra activities are great, our son loves them, especially Playball and Rainbow Anna. When we get photos from their days the smiles say it all. They are also great when we need to add extra days due to other childcare, it makes it easier as working parents. A brilliant nursery, thank you!

My son is wonderfully happy here. The staff are engaged, warm and kind. They have his best interests at heart and really know who he is and love him for it. It’s tempting when choosing a nursery to go for all the bells and whistles, a mistake we made the first time. When we saw Building Blocks, it wasn’t as fancy, or new as the place we were leaving, but it was a lot warmer and full of life and the vibrant energy of happy, fulfilled children. We moved our son here and it was the best decision. Leaving your child all day is painfully difficult, I could only do it if I knew he was happy and safe.

My son has been at Building blocks since he was a year old. He has absolutely thrived here and has learnt so much. I am often complimented on how well he speaks and his range of vocabulary at 3 years old. I have to give a lot of credit to the nursery for this as they are always helping them learn their letters, phonics, numbers, animals etc. He is so knowledgeable on many different topics now. They do so many things with the children such as play ball, diddy dance, rainbow Anna and taking the children out to local parks and the river to feed ducks etc. Seeing the photos from each day on the parenting app is invaluable as I can see how much my son enjoys his time there. The staff are so friendly, helpful and flexible. Having hit some hardships in personal life recently the nursery have been super supportive and a godsend. Couldn't recommend the nursery more and truly believe they are a hidden gem that more people should know about.
