Bumble Beezzz Day Nursery, established in 2001 and led by owner Mrs. Donna Hoult with over 35 years of childcare experience, offers a nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. The nursery operates year-round, excluding bank holidays, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, with an option for a 7:00 am start upon request.
Housed in a converted and extended detached home, it provides spacious rooms catering to specific age groups: babies (0-2 years), toddlers (2-3 years), and preschoolers (3-5 years). A significant highlight is the large garden, accessible in all weather, fostering outdoor play.
The dedicated and qualified staff aim to create a 'home away from home' atmosphere, supporting children's development during their crucial early years. The nursery emphasises quality childcare and education tailored to individual needs, partnering with parents through a key worker approach, and celebrating diversity.
Fresh, healthy meals are prepared on-site daily by their nursery cook, Rachel, who maintains a 5-star food hygiene rating, ensuring mealtimes are social and enjoyable. The curriculum includes fresh fruit, cereals, toast for breakfast, a hot lunch with dessert, and snacks of fruit and vegetables, some of which are grown in the children's allotment.
A light tea is also provided, with milk and water available throughout the day. A two-weekly rotational menu is available upon request.

Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs make good progress in their learning. Staff use regular assessments and observations to identify children needing extra support, making referrals to external agencies when necessary. Good partnerships and information sharing with these professionals ensure children receive the right support.
Children of all ages independently explore the well-resourced indoor and outdoor environment. Pre-school children make bird food to put in the bird feeders in the garden. Toddler children enjoy using their imaginations as they run around the playground and hide in the playhouse.
My son has been going to Bumble Beezzz nursery now for nearly a year and he can't wait to grab his shoes to get there. He loves the girls in the baby room and myself and my wife know he is in capable and safe hands when he goes there. Couldn't sing their praises any more. The children are fed well with fresh cooked meals every day and activities are aplenty, especially when the sun is out and they can get into the garden. A wonderful place to allow your little person to grow,make friends and learn. Best nursery in the area hands down xx

Bumble beezzz day nursery is a brilliant nursery, would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a place for their young children. Both my children have attended and loved it, all the staff are brilliant and so caring towards the children, they have a really good understanding of children’s individual needs and their best interests. An amazing environment for any childs first steps into the world. From a baby to pre school. I wouldn't trust anywhere else with my child. All meals provided are healthy and balanced, a report at the end of the day is provided so I know what my child has been up to. Love seeing updates on the app too. Communication from the nursery is nothing short of outstanding. Staff genunely care for the children and do all they can to establish key relationships.
