The Kindergarten at St Joseph's, known as Kindiejoes Preschool, provides a stimulating and engaging environment for children from two years old until they begin school. The preschool focuses on fostering independence and individuality by encouraging children to make choices and take responsibility for their actions.
Staff members are dedicated to creating an inclusive atmosphere, planning activities that build on each child's unique gifts. Kindiejoes believes in a strong partnership with parents, who are considered the child's primary educators, to build a supportive learning foundation.
The facility operates during term time and offers both preschool sessions and an after-school care program called D2D for children attending St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School. The D2D program includes breakfast club and extended afternoon sessions.
Kindiejoes aims to create a place where children can learn, grow, and play in a caring and understanding setting.

Inclusion & environment
The provision for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is good. Leaders work closely with other professionals to ensure that children with SEND receive tailored support for their individual needs. For example, staff have attended training that helps them to identify children who may need additional support with their speaking skills.
Children dress in their waterproof clothes and wellington boots before playing outside. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
My son has attended breakfast club and after school club for over 2 years since he started at St Josephs primary school. This year he has also attended full day sessions at Summer Club and Christmas Club. It’s a good sign when your child doesn’t want to come home from a childcare setting! Louise and the team provide excellent care and endless fun activities, all in a lovely spacious indoor/outdoor setting. Whether it’s building using ‘junk’, baking, crafts or outdoor play, every day brings another adventure. They have been taken on day trips out during the Summer and Christmas club. Local trips have been to Epsom town centre to visit the market, library and cinema. They have even taken the train up to a London art gallery and had a fun walk and paddle at the stepping stones at Box Hill. I would definitely recommend the Kindergarten at St. Josephs to any parent looking for childcare in the area.
Read on GoogleBoth my girls have over the years attended the Kindergarten at St Josephs. Each time I have been very impressed by the caring and nourishing environment. My daughters have made life-long friends through the nursery and it’s been wonderful to watch them grow. If you’re looking for child care in the Epsom area, I would highly recommend the Kindergarten at St Josephs.
Read on GoogleMy son has been at The Kindergarten for nearly one academic year, and has thoroughly enjoyed his time there so far. He looks forward to his "nursery days" and the new experiences that these bring. The team are very friendly, caring and welcoming. I would recommend Kindie Joes to anyone looking for a pre-school in the Epsom area.
Read on GoogleMy daughter attended the Christmas club at Kindie Jo’s. She loved it and went on a day trip to London, baked biscuits, had McDonald’s, drew pictures and was well looked after throughout. It was great for us and for her and set her up perfectly for the Christmas period.
