They form incredibly strong bonds with nurturing staff who know them exceptionally well. The nursery, established in 2008, offers a curriculum specifically tailored to the needs of every child, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
Staff work harmoniously with parents to assess and provide what children need at the right time. The environment encourages exploration both indoors and outdoors, and staff skillfully challenge children's abilities with activities such as throwing and catching a ball or walking on steppingstones.
Children develop excellent communication and language skills, speaking confidently and fluently, and those who speak English as an additional language have opportunities to use their home language. The leadership is truly inspirational, continually embedding innovative ideas for teaching and learning, and parent partnerships are exceptional, with parents actively involved and welcomed into the nursery.

I have been with the nursery for a year a half now . My son started when it was 18 months and we had an amazing experience with them . They were so delicate and caring to our baby and they went out of their way to support my son . As my son progress to the 1-2 room it enjoyed it and developed great relationship with the teacher and peers . My son is a very active boy and loves the outdoors however we noticed there was some restrictions as he progressed to the foundation class . The ratio increased to 1 to 8 and the level of care decreased drastically in my opinion. The transition from the 1-2 class to the foundation class unfortunately was not seamless and the 3 years were expected to learn a whole lot of rules imposed by Ms Hayley . Many of these rules are somewhat unrealistic for a 3 year old and my son struggled to adjust. Everyday we were given forms to sign with various complaints about my son and it got to a point I was so anxious to pick my boy up . Tony the manager was somewhat helpful but sometimes I felt she didn’t really allow me to express my concerns and often said I was not being supportive as a way to silence my concerns. As a teacher myself I question some of the routines they strongly impose in the foundation class and I feel it needs filter in slowly and not all at once . At a point my husband and I was receiving hostile welcomes when we dropped him off so we decided to pull him out as we were unsure of the care the nursery was providing to my son . My thoughts is that it is a good nursery but the foundation class is not as good as the other phases .
Read on GoogleWe're extremely happy with the service provided by the Busy Bees Chatham team. They work hard to give our children the best possible nursery experience. The setting is well thought out for young children, there's never any complaints about the food (and they've been accommodating of dietary requirements). The activities they do are fun, challenging and imaginative. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Read on GoogleReally great team. Always helpful and accomodating, even the admin team (which is rare). They genuinely love my daughter and look after her. She loves nursery and is always happy to go. They do lots of event days, and have extra things like Spanish that you can sign up for. They also have an app so you can check on your little one in real time and they post pictures of the little ones playing.
Read on GoogleAn amazing nursery experience for all children attending would fully recommend to any parent considering sending their child there, the staff are always considerate and provide excellent feedback back on a daily basis, a real family environment provided by all staff.
