Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities make good progress because the curriculum meets their needs well. Staff recognise when children do not make expected progress in their communication and language skills and teach them sign language to help them express their needs. Staff are quick to access extra support for children and work closely with other professionals.
Across the nursery, there is a good focus on supporting children to be physically active. In the baby room, children have resources that help them to balance and practise walking. In the garden, older children use a range of apparatus to test out their large muscles through balancing, sliding and climbing. Children enjoy running around and expelling their excess energy.
My son joined this nursery in October, the staff are amazing, they have really looked after him. I feel comfortable and happy to return to work knowing he is looked after. The girls are amazing in particular his key worker Amy, Sarah and Claire. We are kept up to date with the activities, food, nappy changes that my son has had every couple of hours via the parent zone app which is great. He has learnt so much since starting and we are really happy with his progress. Thank you to all the staff who care for him.
Read on GoogleManagement display excellent Leadership. Team within the Nursery are approachable, welfare and best interest of the children seem to be core to their values. Staff work in partnership with parents, we feel that they have built an excellent rapport with our child, and truly know her personality, this has aided our child's on-going development, and they are truly thriving. I have been able to return to work, in the knowledge that my child is safe and certainly well cared for. If and when there have been any issues or concerns raised, staff have acted promptly, communication has been good and matters are generally resolved quickly, providing us as parents with reassurance.
Read on GoogleOur son, who is now 2, has been attending this nursery since he was 5 months old . Since day 1 , I felt comfortable and confident that I had chosen the right nursery for him . The staff are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them , you feel that you can approach them at any time. Our son developed some health issues , and although I was initially nervous that the nursery would not be able to meet his needs , I really had nothing to worry about , they have taken on board all of his needs with so much care and compassion, I never leave him in the mornings worrying, as I know that he is in safe hands . He has thrived so much , everyday is a new adventure for him at nursery and I love hearing all about his day . The new system that has been implemented ' parent zone ' is so good for us busy parents who don't always have time for a full handover when picking up our children .We can still keep up to date with what they have been up to during their exciting days at nursery . I really can not fault this nursery , Claire the manager should be so proud of what an amazing and wonderful team she has . I would highly recommend this nursery.
Read on GoogleMy baby started BusyBees January 2021 at 8 and half months. She only had a few settles due to COVID-19 but the staff made them very special for her. They took there time to get to know my daughter and that has had such a positive affect on her. We are now 3 weeks in and she jumps from our arms to be with the staff and other children she has truly built up some exceptional relationships and I feel the staff really know her every need. We have daily updates on parent zone we can see what she has been up to all throughout the day this includes photos too of some inspirational activities. Im truly grateful for all of the work that has gone into setting her in and the daily activities and care they provide.
