Busy Bees Day Nursery at Portsmouth

Busy Bees Portsmouth has been a great nursery for our children. Coming from a black African background, 2016 was such a stressful and worrying time leaving our first child at nursery as we were unsure how she would be received. The staff in the baby room were amazing, they welcomed our daughter with great warmth and cared for her wonderfully. This continued all the way through to Pre-school. As such, Busy Bees was first choice for our second child. Again, the nursery welcomed our son, the staff were amazing, made great effort to get to know him well and were able to notice when he was unwell or not himself. The feedback has been great and the ParentZone App wonderful as we were getting updates of what the children were doing in nursery which included thousands of photographs! Our son has now left nursery and will be starting Reception this September. It therefore is no surprise that our third child will also be joining Busy Bees! We already have registered her a place. For us, Busy Bees was such a safe place and space for our children. The centre Manager Chris Kone was so amazing. Towards the birth of our third child in July, the staff and management at the nursery were very helpful through their flexibility which allowed us to attend antenatal appointments and swap around days that our son attended nursery. One of the driving factors that made us choose Busy Bees was that the nursery has an in-house chef that prepares hot meals and fresh snacks for the children each day. Did we also mention that there is fresh toast after cereal every morning!! The centre has had the lovely Dawn as chef since we first joined the nursery in 2016! In addition to this, some of the staff that were there in 2015 are still there, so we have had that continuity of wonderful care, warmth and smiles. What was great to see was the old nursery staff that looked after our daughter acknowledging her, chatting and checking in on her at drop offs and pick ups. As such, we have been very happy at Busy Bees Portsmouth!

Lovely, caring staff, brilliant activities, range of healthy meals, genuine care for my son, regular updates on his day. He always has such a fun packed day. He's developed and learnt so much since joining and eats so well! Love it! So pleased we chose Busy Bees Portsmouth.

Extremely friendly staff, reliable and flexible. Have accommodated last minute changes. 3 of my children have been there and the staff still remember my now-14 year old. Continuity and care with special relationships and lots of play and learning. So grateful.
