How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) well. They plan to meet individual needs, for example, introducing words for different feelings using soft toys and using specialist equipment to help children engage in play and learning. This helps children with SEND to make good progress.

Our eldest daughter started at busy bees back in 2019 at 6 months old and progressed through the rooms until leaving for school last year. Since, we have welcomed 2 further children to our family who both started at 16 weeks old. Our children love nursery and come home happy, clean and full of enthusiasm for all the activities they have done through the day. Our youngest who is in the baby room has some complex health issues and the staff are really attentive and conscious of his needs. The nursery itself is bright, clean and welcoming. They offer a variety of healthy and nutritious meals as well as plenty of imaginative and engaging educational play activities. The staff are always polite and professional and communication is excellent through the app and at handovers. Our children love their teachers and speak fondly of them at home daily. We would highly recommend Busy Bees to any family looking for a Nursery that they can have confidence in with their children.

Poor communication. Phoned twice to enquire on availability, hours apart. Gave my information and repeated my request to 2 different people. Both said they would ring me back. I emailed via the enquiry form for Telford, who left a voicemail saying that they are a ' centralised number ', and I need to visit the nursery to ask about availability.

I've been really pleased with the level of care given to my child throughout her time at Busy Bees Telford. The facilities are clean, the staff are friendly and caring, and the support, development and learning opportunities offered to my child are fantastic. Any issues that have arisen, have been dealt with quickly and effectively. The food provided is well rounded, healthy and varied. I am kept up to date with regular notifications of what she's up to, including activities, what she's eaten and when she's slept etc. I have no concerns regarding the safety of my child whilst she is in their care. The car park can get a bit busy at peak times (that isn't helped by the co-op next door) and the queue to collect the children can sometimes be long. However, this is just an unfortunate (and unavoidable) short-term problem due to the pandemic. To summarise: I would highly recommend Busy Bees Telford to anybody looking for good quality childcare.

The team have worked incredibly hard to improve the standards of care they provide during a really hard time (covid) and an unfortunate downgrading of their ofsted report. Carla and the team have amazed me with their dedication and commitment to the children and their development. This is reflected in their updated ofsted report. The team are always friendly and there is nothing that is too much trouble! Our daughter has been at busy bees since she was 9 months old and she loves it! They have helped us to raise a confident, funny little girl who is most definitely ready for her transition to big school. We look forward to our second daughter starting in September.
