Buttercups Nursery School, established in 2014, started its journey within a shared facility at a football club in North Petherton before expanding to its current, purpose-designed location in Huntworth. How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities have their needs met well. Staff work effectively with other professionals and implement targeted plans, utilising tools like signing, visual routines, and interactive games to enhance communication.

Outdoor space

Children benefit from spending plenty of time in the fantastic outdoor area. Babies have their own dedicated space, while older children enjoy all areas, from the mud kitchen to the 'maths hut', and actively engage in riding bikes. Children go outdoors in all weathers, wearing waterproofs and wellington boots when it rains.
