About this day nursery
Butterflies Child and Baby Care Services Limited, known as Butterflies Nursery, strives to provide a nurturing and home-like atmosphere where children can flourish through play-based learning, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. How they support every child
SEND provision
Staff work closely with parents, the special educational needs coordinator and external agencies to ensure prompt support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. Staff differentiate activities, which enables all children to have full access to the curriculum.
Outdoor space
Children and babies have many opportunities to develop their core strength and fine motor movements in the fresh air. When older children run and balance on tyres, they confidently use climbing equipment and throw up a large ball saying, 'higher and higher'. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.

Butterflies nursery have done amazing work with all my children to ensure they are nurtured and developing at their best. The staff are wonderful, giving regular updates and working on routines and independence for the children. They have all loved their experience in the different classroom settings. The classrooms are light and spacious, and there is plenty of outdoor space too. There is an ethos of supporting each other and fostering friendships as well as creativity and learning. It makes me happy to know they enjoy turning up in the morning and are excited for the planned and varied activities of the day. I would highly recommend this nursery to other families.

At first before signing my son up to butterflies nursery, I really did have my doubts. However, I am so glad that any doubts that I once had, have completely gone and now know that I had made the right choice for my son to attend butterflies nursery and that he is the happiest he could be. The staff here are ALL amazing and that is no exaggeration. I can see that they love my son and my son absolutely loves them, I am gutted that he is going to be leaving in the summer to attend school as the staff at butterflies nursery will be missed so much. They provide so much learning experiences for the children to help them to learn and develop in a safe, stimulated and happy environment. Thank you so much to the team at butterflies nursery, we appreciate you all, for everything that you have done.

5 stars is just not enough to describe what a fantastic nursery this is! The whole team is like one big family who make us as parents and our 2 boys feel like we walk into a home from home environment. I have worked in nurseries and now am a parent at a nursery and can honestly say my only regret is not finding this nursery sooner! It is 5 stars in every aspect in our opinion, all the staff really put the children’s needs first, and give them such genuine care and support. We feel so comfortable to leave our babies at the nursery knowing they are being cared for in the best possible way. Our eldest is now going to his big boy school, but we are so glad we still have our youngest there so our experience with the nursery hasn’t come to an end! It’s always hard to leave your children but we want to Thank you for supporting not only our boys, but also us as parents with our time so far at the nursery!xx

We have had nothing but positive experiences with all the staff at Butterfies. Our eldest has just left & our 18 month old still attends and has made huge progress and have always felt the support from staff, implementing continuity at home & the nursery, was always met with positive attitude. They have also recently refurbished the entire nursery and looks absolutely wonderful! The ease of adding additional sessions where needed was such a reassurance for a busy family of 4 and changes hapoening unexpectedly. Polite, friendly but mostly supportive staff, who all show and take their role in working with children to great lengths!

Butterflies Nursery is a fantastic place, it has a team of very professional ladies who put in 100% effort everyday. My child only joined this summer but he has settled in straight away, his days are fully documented… the communication is great and I’m at peace knowing that he is well cared for throughout the whole day. I viewed many nurseries before choosing Butterflies Nursery - I would say it’s the best in Enfield!
