About this day nursery

30am to 6pm, for 51 weeks a year, catering to children aged 0-4 years. Rated as 'Good' by Ofsted following its inspection on 23 June 2022, the nursery provides a stimulating and exciting environment where children are happy and eager to participate in a wide range of activities.

The curriculum is ambitious, led by a manager with a strong understanding of child development, ensuring that staff know what each child can achieve and what they need to learn next. Staff effectively utilise both indoor and outdoor spaces to foster independent choices and active learning.

The nursery places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, with recently introduced larger climbing equipment and varied terrain. This supports children's physical development and helps them to become agile and manage risks effectively.

The inclusive environment means that older children are kind and supportive towards those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and managers adapt practices to ensure all children can access the provision equally. Parents have noted the significant progress their children make, with many reporting their children singing songs, using numbers, and engaging with books and even cooking concepts learned at the nursery.

Staff effectively use outdoor areas and varied terrain to challenge children's physical development and risk-management skills. Children are inquisitive and staff enable them to explore their own ideas and engage in activities.
