Camrose Early Years Centre, located in Northampton, registered in 2004 and provides full-day care for children aged two years and under. Open all year round, Monday to Friday, from 8am until 6pm, the centre is independently run from Camrose Nursery School Early Years Centre.
The dedicated staff team, which includes a manager with qualified teacher status, prioritises supporting children to develop close attachments, helping them to feel secure. This nurturing approach begins with home visits before children start, allowing staff to learn about their interests and ensure a smooth transition.
Children are encouraged to learn through playful repetition, such as peekaboo, and are supported in understanding words linked to actions through songs and interactions. The centre provides funded early education for two-year-old children.
The curriculum is designed to promote individual learning needs and interests. The centre effectively supports children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) through targeted plans developed in partnership with parents.
Staff are also adept at gathering information on children’s health needs and implementing care plans. Children who speak English as an additional language are supported in their language development through the use of key words in their home language alongside English.
Outdoor learning is encouraged, with staff providing equipment for babies to push as they develop their balance and coordination, always ensuring their safety. Parents consistently praise the staff for being supportive and helpful, appreciating the ideas provided to extend learning at home.

Both my children have and are attending this nursery. And all staff members are welcoming ..caring, protective and supportive with both children and parents. The setting is brilliant and accommodates every child’s needs and the staff and curriculum they provide is outstanding.

Daughter has been going here twice a week since 6 months old and is now 2. She has thrived here! She's been lucky with her key workers and bonding really well with a few members of staff as well as making friends in her age groups. Lots of activities and development and lots of spaces for them to play inside and out, plus home cooked balanced food!
