Casterton Nursery, situated within the scenic grounds of Casterton College Rutland, has been a pillar of early education and care for over two decades, catering to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. They also run an engaging Holiday Club for school-aged children, leveraging the college's extensive facilities, from expansive fields for outdoor adventures to a sports hall for energetic play.

The nursery is dedicated to fostering sociable, independent, and confident learners, aiming to instil a lifelong love for discovery in every child. They operate year-round, with closures only between Christmas and New Year, and on Bank Holidays, including Good Friday.

The nursery prides itself on providing high-quality care and education within a stimulating and language-rich environment, believing that the physical space is as crucial as the learning content. What it's like

Children love coming to nursery and arrive excited to learn in the welcoming environment created by staff. They build close relationships with all staff, settle quickly and feel secure enough to put their own comforters away. They know what staff expect of them and behave exceptionally, listening to staff and others and asking questions using polite phrases.
