Castle Nursery School in Kenilworth provides all-year care and education for children aged from three to eleven years. In June 2024, Ofsted judged the day nursery to be 'Outstanding'. The inspector reported that the curriculum is excellent and sets high goals for all children. Teaching was also described as excellent, and children’s behaviour and manners were noted as praiseworthy. The report found that staff promote critical thinking by asking thought-provoking questions and that children are exceptional communicators with a rich vocabulary.

Children have access to a garden for outdoor activities, which include a paddling pool, a mud kitchen, and a construction area. The day nursery provides a balanced diet and opportunities for physical activity. For children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, managers engage with other agencies to provide early intervention. The special educational needs coordinator also works with the local authority to secure funding for specific interventions. Parents told the inspector their children come home with new knowledge about topics like numbers and animals.

Children enthusiastically arrive with a strong desire to learn, engage in high-quality activities, and demonstrate incredible pride when they successfully solve small problems. They are exceptional communicators with a rich vocabulary and eagerly discover new flavours and textures during outdoor play.
