About this day nursery

Little Crackers Nursery, located in Kenilworth, offers a nurturing environment for children from nine months through to pre-school age. Situated within Crackley Hall School and surrounded by beautiful woodland, the nursery prides itself on providing a stimulating and natural space where young learners can thrive through experimentation, creativity, exploration, and discovery.

The dedicated and caring team, which includes qualified Early Years Teachers, guides children through a diverse range of activities. From January 2026, Little Crackers will cater for infants from nine months old in their Ladybirds room, expanding their age range.

The nursery operates from 7:45 am to 6:00 pm, 51 weeks a year, offering flexible morning, afternoon, and full-day sessions to accommodate working parents. Children benefit from early exposure to specialist-taught activities such as Music, Drama, PE, Games, Forest School, and French lessons, enriching their educational experience.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured by age bands: under one year (Ladybirds), two years (Dormice), and three to four years (Hedgehogs & Badgers). Sessions can be booked as morning, afternoon, full day, or full time (all week) options.

Good to know

  • A non-refundable registration fee is required.
  • A deposit is requested when a place is offered, refunded after the child leaves.
  • The deposit will not be returned if the child does not attend the nursery.
  • An 8% discount is applied for a full week's attendance.
  • Interest for late settlement of fees is charged at a rate of 4% per annum.

Nurturing, creative and a really varied range of activities for little ones to choose from with the benefit of experienced, caring and capable nursery staff including qualified teachers and a Head of Early Years. So many great people but have to namecheck Lisa - she is the embodiment of nursery know how and general loveliness to parents and children alike, she’s an educative superstar! Genial atmosphere in a big, airy nursery with lots of new equipment, dedicated library and forest area plus covered outdoor play. The umbrella of the school ensures an educational focus is maintained whilst the children have a huge amount of fun. I love the ethos of the school ‘Be kind and do your best’ and the value of thoughtfulness and consideration in everyday things. My son’s favourite activities are rugby tots and forest school although he enjoys everything really. I have found the team there very supportive and as helpful as possible and the fact that my son runs in enthusiastically says it all! A hidden gem.
