Inclusion & environment
Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities is a strength of the nursery. Children who need additional support receive this promptly. They have access to a sensory room where children benefit from a calm atmosphere. Leaders use additional funding well, planning learning opportunities that build on gaps in children's experiences.
Outside in the garden, children play in the bark chippings with large dinosaurs, pretending to make them dinner out of the leaves they collect. Children enjoy using the outside taps to fill containers and transport water to their activities.
Our daughter has been attending for nearly two years and have nothing but positive things to say about the nursery and all the staff. Our daughter really enjoys nursery and clearly likes all the staff there. In all the rooms our daughter has been in the staff really ‘get’ our daughter and we can see how much she is flourishing from her time in nursery. Communication is great and since Charlotte and Elouise have taken on their management roles I can see all the changes they have made and how positive they have been for the nursery. Our daughter loves the food as well, apparently mummies cooking is boring and nursery food is yummy! I definitely recommend the nursery to any parents looking at local childcare options
Read on GoogleMy little girl has been attending Chadwell St Mary Day Nursery for 7 months and I cannot praise the staff enough. My little girl has come on leaps and bounds since joining and all the staff are incredibly caring and nurturing. She is always coming home with wonderful crafts she’s completed and the daily updates show just how much fun she has when she is there. Most recently the nursery arranged a Christmas photo shoot and advised parents to pack Christmas should they so wish and the staff would take care of the rest. Keeping in mind how busy it must be anyway with all of the children, there was still time to get all the children ‘photo ready’ and the photo’s taken were brilliant! Such a great hardworking team and so happy we chose this setting for our daughter.
Read on GoogleMy little one has been attending nursery for 2 years. He loves the staff, the activities and menu. The ladies are all approachable and are professional and kind. Would recommend to friends and family.
Read on GoogleChadwell St Mary Day Nursery is the Worst nursery in Essex. My grandson went to this nursery and had the worst time. He Didnt settle for the whole time he was there. They employ young girls with no training. They keep children dirty. They ignore parents’ instructions and put children at risk. Would not recommend. Take your child to this nursery at your own risk.
Read on GoogleWe are so pleased with Chadwell at Mary Day Nursery. The team is dedicated, friendly, and accommodating, and it’s obvious they love their jobs. Our 9-month-old is always happy to go in—the ladies are great with him and make us feel completely confident in his care.
