Children clearly enjoy their time spent at the nursery. Staff know the children well and are nurturing and caring to their individual needs. All children show that they are settled, happy and enjoy their play and learning experiences.

  • Children experience many opportunities to develop their physical skills, including ballet and music and movement sessions.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Managers ensure that children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported to make good progress. Staff are quick to identify children who are not at their expected levels of development. They make swift referrals and work in partnership with other professionals to target plans for those children who need them.

Outdoor space

Children have plenty of opportunities to play outside in the garden and develop good physical skills. Younger children move around with increasing confidence. Older children confidently demonstrate their control as they balance and jump over, on and off different-sized obstacles.

Choosing a nursery was a huge decision, and we honestly feel so lucky to have found this one. It’s a truly wonderful nursery, and our son absolutely loves going in every day — it really feels like a home away from home for him. We know he is safe, well looked after, and given the individual attention he needs. He’s in a caring environment where he’s encouraged to develop and is genuinely taken good care of. Having that peace of mind as a parent means everything. A big thank you to the whole team for creating such a fantastic nursery...we’re so grateful!

This nursery provides a calm and safe environment for children, with good privacy and outdoor garden space for play. The montessori teaching encourages independence and confidence, and the nearby horse stables offers a unique opportunity for the children to enjoy.

Every staff show that they care about the wellbeing of the children, amongst others the planned activities continues to help the children’s development and build confidence. I am very grateful for such facility in our community and I couldn’t have thought of a better place to send my children.

Such an amazing environment for a child. Loads of fun and educational based learning. My oldest has just left and is about to start primary and she's learnt so much to help her prepare. My youngest is currently there and she smiles going in. Great communication with any concerns or requests. Amazing food and snacks for the kids.

I just wanted to take a moment to share some positivity because I see all the hard work you do and the incredible impact it has, not just on my child’s present, but on their future. Whenever I come into Play Studio Montessori, it’s always a positive experience. It’s clear how much you all care about the children and what they’re doing, all the staff and leadership are brilliant, you can see all the updates on your child’s day on their app. There’s no other nursery I know of that offers such a range of extracurricular activities. The children go to church for Christmas and Easter, they visit nursing homes to connect with older members of the community, and they have dedicated creative arts teachers who lead sessions in singing and music. Your emphasis on creativity and well rounded development touches every aspect of my child’s life, and I’m truly grateful for it.
