About this day nursery

Chalk Hill Pre-School, located in Watford, WD19 4DA, caters to children from two years old up to school age, offering a nurturing environment that distinguishes between age groups: 'Caterpillars' for 2-3 year olds and 'Butterflies' for 3-4 year olds in their final year before school. The Pre-School operates with a waiting list and prioritises a minimum of two sessions per week to ensure children settle into a routine, though exceptions may occur during full capacity.

The 'Chalk Hill Friends' committee, comprising a chairperson, treasurer, secretary, and other members, plays a crucial role in orchestrating these events and managing the pre-school’s charitable endeavours.

Our daughter has a wonderful experience at this nursery. The staff are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive, and it’s clear they truly enjoy what they do. She has developed so much confidence since starting, and we love seeing how excited she is to go in each day. The activities are engaging and support her learning and development in a fun way. Communication with parents is also excellent, and we always feel informed and reassured. We’re so grateful for the nurturing and safe environment they provide and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.
