The institution places a strong emphasis on well-being, resilience, language development, and social-emotional growth, with a continuously evolving curriculum. Longwood School and Nursery was established through the merger of Rainbow Nurseries, which operated across Bedfordshire and Middlesex, leading to a team of experienced and highly-qualified staff dedicated to providing excellent care.

Pricing & funding

Charges are based on a flat hourly rate for term-time before and after school care, with a capped maximum weekly fee. Standard hours run from early morning until school starts and resume in the afternoon, with slightly different timings operating at the Attenborough and Old Park sites.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported. Staff demonstrate good levels of knowledge of the children in their care. This ensures that all children have equal access to learning opportunities.

Outdoor space

Children have access to many outdoor learning opportunities. Older children are particularly proud of their new greenhouse and are excited to show visitors the seeds they are growing with their friends. Children's physical development is well supported throughout the nursery with age-appropriate apparatus and large open areas to explore and create obstacle courses in.
