They very much appreciate the warm and caring attitudes the staff show towards their children and themselves.

They welcome the frequent information they receive about their children's progress and the guidance to support their learning at home.

Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress overall in all areas of their learning. Staff nurture and support children with SEND and other vulnerable learners well. They use their knowledge of children's development to identify potential concerns or gaps in children's learning and development at an early stage. Leaders recognise when they need to involve other professionals, such as speech and language therapists or health visitors, and work closely with parents to ensure that children progress well from their individual starting points.

Outdoor space

Children learn to recognise and manage their own safety as, for example, they play balancing games on an obstacle course of planks and crates. Staff help children progressively develop physical skills by, for example, building their balancing skills as they learn to ride increasingly challenging two- and three-wheeled vehicles or create and manoeuvre round obstacle courses.

My little boy loved going to Chantreyland and was very happy. A great learning experience in a well established nursery, set him up for school. Really caring staff and management, the setting was my first choice above others.

I feel I have to write a review although I feel uncomfortable about it however there are children involved so I will. I visited with my 6 month old to look round for her to potentially go here. The staff were not expecting us as the message had not been passed on. What we saw was disorganised, unhygienic through out, every room was chaotic and children were wandering without purpose. Displays were hanging off. Room leaders never made themselves known. Resources were not meaningful, purposeful and nothing seemed to be linked to the EYFS framework. Things were piled up, toys were old and dirty. Myself and my partner left feeling uneasy. Unfortunately, I feel I have to leave this review.

My son has been going to Chantreyland for 6 months now and he loves it! The staff are kind, caring and supportive. They keep the kids busy with loads of fun activities, everyone knows my son's name and he's happy to arrive there every morning. The building and outside space is lovely and they take the kids on trips to nearby Graves Park too.

Chantreyland have been amazing in settling ib my daughter. Previously she was at another nursery and it just wasnt right for her but it made me anxious moving to another nursery but honestly the staff are lovely here! Everyone always has a smile on their face making the atmosphere of the nursery very friendly and welcoming. In particular i have noticed how the staff go out of their way in creating fun activities for the children and making them feel at home! My daughter never wants to come home! And I absolutely love that she feels so comfortable to say that
