Little Angels Nursery, established in 1998, is a private nursery located near Bochum Parkway in Norton, Sheffield, surrounded by trees and woodland. The nursery provides childcare for children ranging from 3 months to five years old.

It boasts a large garden and a purpose-built Forest Area, offering extensive outdoor learning opportunities. The dedicated and experienced staff team, led by Nursery Manager Chloe, are passionate about early years education and committed to creating a homely atmosphere where each child's individual needs and interests are met.

The team comprises educators with qualifications ranging from apprentice level to degree-level practitioners. They prioritise supporting each child in reaching their full potential and offer thorough handovers, regular progress updates, and parent evenings twice a year.

The nursery also provides two free settling-in sessions with a child's key worker. All staff members are DBS checked, trained in safeguarding children, and hold paediatric first aid qualifications.

The nursery is divided into age-specific rooms: Wings for 3 months to 2 years, Halos for 2 to 3 years, and Angels for 3 years and above. Little Angels Nursery aims to instil a lifelong love of learning in every child.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are very well supported by knowledgeable staff. They have individual support plans that have been carefully thought out in partnership with parents. Staff consider the best ways to help children with SEND to develop their skills and knowledge and give them the extra help that they need.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy exploring the world around them. For example, they dig and look for sticks and bugs in the forest school. Children are physically active outdoors, taking part in hunts for dinosaurs and jumping from one log to another.

I would highly recommend Little Angels Nursery. Our little boy loved his time at the nursery. All the stuff are lovely and caring. They organise loads of activities for children. Best nursery in the area. We will miss them dearly x
