How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and staff work closely with parents to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. This helps staff to assess children's progress and recognise and support their learning needs early.

Outdoor space

The inspector observed children's interactions with staff and with each other both indoors and outdoors. Older children have plenty of opportunities to practise their gross motor skills, such as running, jumping, climbing and balancing as they play.

I am not entirely sure why Chaston off Grafton Terrace doesn't have better Google reviews. We found this nursery to stand out in the entire Camden/Belsize Park area through their fantastic and long-standing staff (no agencies), generous and clean facilities, a separate sleeping room for the baby group (absolute rarity in London) and the focus on learning and clear curricula. Yes - the communication is not great when registering, and it almost put us off. But with my son now having joined Chaston almost half a year ago, I can confidently say it's because none of the staff hang about on the laptop, but do their utmost to care for the children. We couldn't have asked for a better nursery for our little son (1yo) and recommend Chaston to everyone who asks.
