Harmood Children's Centre & Family Hub is one of several hubs in Camden offering comprehensive support to families. Inclusion & environment
A language-rich curriculum supports all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Various strategies to support language are embedded by staff to use with children throughout the day. Children with SEND enjoy personalised support. Staff adapt the provision so that all children can take part. Parents of children with SEND praise the staff's care and expertise and note that they have formed trusting relationships.
The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this is having on the children's learning.
I’m so grateful for this wonderful nursery. My daughter talks about her teachers all the time and feels very comfortable and happy there. The staff are warm, patient, and truly care about the children. It’s a safe and peaceful place that helps kids grow with love. Six months ago, when my daughter Eva first started at Harmood Nursery, I wrote a review saying how happy I was with the staff. Now, after six months, I feel like I need to write another one because the experience has been even better than I ever expected. As a single mother, life can sometimes be very exhausting and overwhelming. But the love, care, and support I have received from everyone at the nursery has meant more to me than words can explain. They take such wonderful care of my daughter, and they are always kind, patient, and supportive.
