My son loves the nursery, staff are amazing and always provide daily updates of my son’s day. My son has learnt so much from his time here so far. The nursery is clean and tidy and recently had a revamp.

The best thing about this nursery was Lyndsey. She was an amazing key worker for my son, and her care, warmth and consistency really stood out. She will genuinely be missed, and I am grateful for the support she gave him.🤍 However, my overall experience with the nursery was disappointing. While some staff may present well within the local community, my personal experience was that certain staff members came across as biased, dismissive and overly confident in saying things without considering how their words or actions may be received by parents. As a parent who understands the importance of early years regulations, safeguarding, communication and professional conduct, I found some of the explanations and responses given to be poor and, at times, unhelpful. There were situations where clear, factual communication would have avoided unnecessary confusion and back and forth. My son took a very long time to settle at this nursery. At the time, I tried to be patient, but looking back, I do wonder whether he sensed that the environment was not fully welcoming or right for him. Since moving to another nursery, he settled within one week, which was a huge contrast to the months it took here. I am glad I kept clear notes of conversations and events, as this helped me stay confident about what was said and what happened. Again, thank you to Lyndsey. 🤍 She was the real positive in our experience.
